Influence Drifts explores ephemeral datastreams that shape tendencies, impact culture, and alter our environment. These processes are in perpetual motion. Seemingly beautiful and flawless, the seductive digital space entices us into a deceptive makeshift world. Eliashvili's work encourages the viewer to reflect upon how the ceaseless stream of information flooding into our consciousness from the digital universe shapes our perceptions and desires. The pieces presented in this show aim to expose the web of intersecting influences weaving together the artist's creative vision.

Combining elements of cybercore, neochrome, liquid mercury, and infrared vision aesthetics, the works embody a visual journey through the digital age. Sprinkled throughout the pieces are ubiquitous symbols native to the internet. Compositionally, the works flow in and out of abstraction and figuration as the post-human digital deities are suspended through space and time. Having worked primarily in watercolor before this series, Eliashvili brings the visual lightness of this medium to her oil canvases.
